You can avoid upgrade

can choose from. You can always connect external peripherals as needed.
We do not offer "Customize From Scratch" machines as the peripherals
are difficult to procure, configure & optimize.
We suggest
you is to pick a machine out of our standard lineup and configure the
add-on's if necessary. You will not only get a truly tested machine but
also a system that is very compatible with any software.

Can I
buy a computer with a higher processor and a lower spec on the
other peripherals so that the bundle turns out to be the same cost!

Why
are your computers pre-loaded with Linux ? How useful is it ?
Computers
from us come pre-loaded with free Linux OS. All the essential free
software like Word Processors, Spread Sheets, Presentation Tools, Mail
Clients, Browsers and Messengers come along with this OS which will
help you get things up and running right away.

Can I
buy computers with Windows OS ?
Yes, you can configure
your computer with Genuine Windows OS at an additional cost. You can do
this on the "Configuration Choose" page when you proceed to buy it. You
can also ask us to partition the hard drive as required and have a
dual-boot option so that you are able to run both Windows and Linux.

If I
buy a computer from you and load it with a different operating system
on a later date, will you still support me ?
Yes, if it a question MakeMyComputer.Com can answer, we surely will.

Why
don’t you make low cost computers ?
We know what it
takes for a computer to get your job done. Low cost computers are often
a result of huge set of compromises which can hinder your work speed
and cause reliability issues. We do not intend to and will never make
that kind.
13)
What
difference is it if I procure the peripherals & rig it up my
selves ?
There
may be issues, to start off you might be taking a chance unless you
totally understand the intricate details of doing it correctly. You
might also be conducting a compatibility experiment which more often
than not, can turn out to be a failure. You will also miss some of
our technology that safe gaurds your highend system.

Do
you make Laptops ?
We surely will, as soon as we conclude to a point where their
performance to price ratio is comparable to desktops.

Do
you upgrade old computers ?
We are offering this service to computers purchased from
MakeMyComputer.Com only.

Do
you do component sales ?
No, we don't.
17)
Explain me the warranty procedure.
If the computer is under General or Extended warranty, the defective
part is replaced immediately at our service center.
If
the computer is not under warranty but the part is under manufacturer
warranty you can claim this warranty from the manufacturer, we will
provide you the details required to go about the procedure at no
additional charge.
You can also avail our out-of-warranty repair
service, where we charge a nominal amount to go through this procedure.
Meantime, you can keep your computer running with a stand-by part from
us by paying us a refundable deposit.
The original part is
replaced into your computer soon as it returns after repair/replacement
from the part manufacturer. Our stand-by part is removed and the
deposit is refunded.

User
serviceable ?
Not all, but many of the models from
MakeMyComputer.Com are user serviceable, that if at all you are willing
to do it yourselves for reasons unspecified. We request you to consult
us prior to attempting it so that we can let you know the precautions
and procedures needed to go through this process.
19)
I
wish to place a bulk order, how do I do that ?
Call us or
Mail us, tell us your requirement and let our experts pick the right
ones for you. On completion of the choice, place the PO or ask us to
place the order. We'd be glad to assist you.

What
payment modes do you offer ?
We accept payments though Cash, Cheque, Demand Draft, Online Bank
Transfer & Bank Deposit.

Can I
avail finance / EMI option ?
You will have to arrange for this at your end.

When can I have my machine after the order is placed?
The standard deployment time is 1 working day after realization of the
payment.
